Details of the ROI Segmentation
To speed up the segmentation, 3-step hierarchical multigrid approach is applied.
The procedure makes use of Gibbs random fields and estimation of intensity functions.
The object segmented out is the result of maximization of a posteriori probability density function. An adaptive method of a noise
estimation and modelling of pixels interactions coefficient is implemented based on a global contrast of the input image.
