Background:

Anh Le is currently working as a Postdoctoral Associate at Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Florida, Gainesville, FL (UF). She received both her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering Department at University of Southern California (USC) in 2007 and 2010, respectively. She received her B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of California, Irvine in 2005.
Dr. Le has trained in medical imaging and informatics, especially in imaging and medical system integration. She obtains thorough knowledge in DICOM, IHE, HIPAA as well as experience in database design, software and web-based application development using multiple programming languages (e.g., C/C++, C#, PHP, XML), and various computer system and network management. She also possesses expertise in information system integration, development of electronic patient record, and system implementation and support in clinical environment. Her current interests include medical physics, medical imaging and informatics, healthcare information, system management in multiple disciplines of medicine, such as radiology, surgery, and therapy and IT infrastructure, and translational research in medicine.
